Iran's Cultural Consulate in South Africa Marks Prophet Muhammad's Birth Anniversary

Iranian Mission Calls on All Peoples to Draw Inspiration From Prophet's Timeless Message of Justice, Dignity, and Coexistence

Hawzah News Agency – The Cultural Consulate of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in South Africa has extended its warmest congratulations to Muslims and all people of conscience worldwide on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), describing him as the Prophet of Mercy and Compassion.

In a statement released to mark the occasion, the consulate emphasized that the Prophet's timeless message of justice, dignity, peaceful coexistence, and human excellence continues to serve as a guiding light for humanity.

"On this blessed occasion, we call upon all nations and communities to reflect on the universal values championed by the Holy Prophet — compassion for the vulnerable, fairness in all dealings, respect for human dignity, and the pursuit of knowledge and excellence," the statement read.

The consulate highlighted that the Prophet's teachings transcend boundaries of faith, culture, and geography, offering a framework for dialogue, mutual understanding, and collective progress in an era marked by division and conflict.

"At a time when the world faces unprecedented challenges — from war and displacement to the erosion of moral values — the Prophet's example of mercy, patience, and unwavering commitment to justice remains more relevant than ever," the consulate stated.

The Cultural Consulate reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran's commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue, cultural exchange, and cooperation with South African institutions and communities, in line with the universal principles embodied by the Prophet of Islam.

The mission also invited the public to follow its official channels for updates on cultural programs, educational initiatives, and interfaith engagements commemorating this sacred occasion and promoting greater understanding between peoples.
